hmm. a thought occurred to me yesterday after mugging with the church peeps.

how well DO you think you know the people around you?
how well DO you actually know the people around you?

in our busy lives, with our busy schedules,
rushing projects, doing homework,
running errands, sounding horns and whatnot,
people really tend to take the people around them for granted.

sometimes you know people for the longest time ever, before you actually find out or realise a trait or characteristic of them.

more often than not people think they know everything there is to know about a particular person, but that is rarely or never the case. some people dont even know themselves well.

we're usually so caught up in our own lives, we dont bother taking the time to REALLY get to know even the closest of friends among us, let alone each and every one of the many (subjective, some people do not have many) friends we have.

i dont know where this is going to, or where i'll end up, i'm just making it up as i go along.

i guess the reason for the sudden inspiration to type this post were the stories i heard. the things about people around me that i never knew or never thought possible. a different side of people not made explicit to the world. its when you hear these kinds of things when it suddenly strikes you how in-the-dark you've been, how lives have been going on in the sly without your knowledge, how people you used to know have changed, how far you've drifted away from the people you used to be close to, how overly simplistic you make people out to be, how little you actually know.

its times like these that you really wonder.
if only i could read minds.

well this has gotta be a new record for me.
3 weeks without posting D:
sorry peeps.

i kinda miss this place.
the ranting, the jokes, the pictures, the people, the fun.
i guess when term 3/4 came it just forced everything else to take a backseat.
and soon, it will all be over.

6 days to the horror.
17 days to heaven.

though countless teachers have already talked to us (slim, esther, gwee etcetcetc.) about how this was the last lap and we all should start studying (since term 4 week 1), i guess its about time i actually heeded their advice. LOL.

yes, i am screwed. haven't started AT ALL.
i think there's something wrong with me. i just CAN'T get myself to study.
no matter how hard i try D:

argh. anyways HRP oral defence tomorrow.
and ortus night emcee auditions.
time to go down a couple of lozenges, my throat is still phlegm-y.











let's just hope it all works out in the end <3

just got home from the City District Youth (Something that starts with C, i cant remember) CDYC :D

basically its sth like praise and worship, where everyone gets high on songs and sing our hearts out for God.

had fun :D
haha. but i think last year's was much better :D

today was screwed. LOL.
went for sabbat. realised the only person i knew there was hongyao. uber fail.
then after sabbat went to get geog papers.
D7. damn it. sigh.

anyways, jr ongbak ryo zhihao and i emo-walked all the way to KAP. LOL. took us about half an hour.
on the journey i kept telling jr "after that overhead bridge, the next one is kap liao!"
LOL. only to realise like, 5 mins more of walking, that i was wrong and there was yet another overhead beidge.
LOL. this process occurred 3/4 times. LOL.
then when we REALLY got to the KAP bridge jr stopped believing me. LOL. but we made it :D

ate, fell asleep on the bus, went home.
shall sleep early tonight. havent slept before 1am this whole term, apart from that night i was ill and yesterday.
